Hechos 11:18Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960) 18 Entonces, oídas estas cosas, callaron, y glorificaron a Dios, diciendo: !!De manera que también a los gentiles ha dado Dios arrepentimiento para vida! Jesús dijo: " Convertíos y creed en el Evangelio " ( Mc 1,15) . El arrepentimiento comienza con un reconocimiento y confesión de que lo que Dios dice es verdad : Él no exime a los culpables, todos somos pecadores , y Cristo murió por nuestros pecados. Un verdadero reconocimiento de nuestro pecado y culpa también dará lugar a la tristeza genuina , la vergüenza y hasta odio por lo que hemos hecho . Sinceridad aparente de la confesión por sí sola nunca es una prueba definitiva de un arrepentimiento genuino . Debe ir acompañada de un alejamiento del pecado . Uno debe poner su fe en Jesús para la salvación . Jesús dijo: " Mis ovejas oyen mi voz, y yo las conozco, y me siguen " ( Jn 10:27 ) . Esto no es sólo una oración de tiempo , sino un nuevo estilo de vida . Convertíos y creed en el evangelio de hoy, porque Es La VERDAD Puede que no tengas MAÑANA ! Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life."—Acts 11:18. Jesus said, "Repent and believe in the gospel" (Mk 1:15 ). Repentance begins with a recognition and confession that what God says is true: He will not excuse the guilty, we are all sinners, & Christ has died for our sins. A genuine recognition of our sinfulness and guilt will also lead to genuine sorrow, shame and even hatred for what we have done. Apparent sincerity of confession alone is never definite evidence of genuine repentance. It must be accompanied by a turning away from sin. One must put their faith in Jesus alone for salvation. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (Jn 10:27). This is not just a one time prayer but a whole new lifestyle. Repent and believe the good news today, because the truth is - YOU MAY NOT HAVE TOMORROW!
